Adol embarks on an epic journey to know about himself and Duran accompanies him. He meets a man named as Duran, an Information Dealer by profession who tells him about his past and that is the moment when the inner adventurer of Adol wakes up. According to the storyline, Ys: Memories of Celceta sets you up as the protagonist amnesic Adol Christin who arrives in the Town of Casnan without any information about himself and his visit to Celceta. The game offers a similar game-play to its predecessors and takes you to the Land of Celceta also known as the Great Forest of Celceta.
